Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce award will be hosted by Martin Group to Rep. Tyler August

Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce (WMC) 2012 Working for Wisconsin award will be presented to local Rep. Tyler August, (R-32), by hosted at the Martin Group Corporate Office in Lake Geneva on Nov. 2, at 3 p.m. August helped pass legislation aiding local manufacturing jobs to remain in Wisconsin and receive favorable legislation to help them succeed.
“We are very honored to host this event,” Martin Group President John Stensland said. “August has done a lot for Wisconsin businesses and in moving Wisconsin forward.”
The award is given to legislators, like August, who stand up for jobs and improve the state’s business climate by voting 75 percent or greater in support of the pro-jobs position on the Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce legislative score card. August is among 60 Assembly members and 17 Senators receiving the award.
