We analyze your fleet of printers and, based on your volume and types of printers, offer you a cost-per-copy program that provides free repair, parts, supplies (cartridges) and labor should any of your printers need service. Program can be from one year to five years in duration.

OneSource Platinum

Same program as Gold except we purchase your fleet of printers from you so that keeping your fleet current with technology and performance is our responsibility, not yours.

Our manufacturing facility is in Janesville, WI; so, not only are you working with a local company, the cartridge you put into your printer was remanufactured by local folks right here in Wisconsin.

FleetView is Printer Fleet Management Software

FleetView is a small software application that is installed on a networked computer to collect printer and copier metrics. It runs silently in the background as a Windows service to periodically monitor your networked printers, copiers, fax machines, or multifunction peripherals for upcoming maintenance checks, meter reads, toner checks, and potential service issues. It is small and creates minimal network traffic, approximately equal to the network traffic created by visiting a single standard webpage.

What Data Does FleetView Collect?

FleetView never stores any personal or user data. Only information that is stored in the memory of the networked printers and copiers is collected.

Data collection is limited to:

• IP address
• Device description
• Serial number
• Meter readings
• Page counts
• Monochrome/color identification
• LCD reading
• Device status
• Toner levels
• Asset/tag number
• Location
• MAC address

Where Does the Data Go?

Collected data is encrypted and transmitted to a secure web server. The data is used by our OneSource analysts in your consultation and analysis reports. The meter reads, device status and toner levels information is used by our service department to record meter reads, check for service issues (sometimes even before you can report them!) and automate toner requests. You’ll receive regular reports that analyze usage and output from your fleet of machines.

Is My Business Data Safe?

Absolutely. FleetView does not collect, house, or transmit any information regarding the content of your print jobs. Using FleetView has no impact on your compliance with the various federal reporting and privacy laws.

ADMINISTRATION

Our internal administration team handles the behind-the-scenes details of taking care of our clients and our company. Functions include accounts payable/accounts receivable, contract administration, lease administration, marketing and order processing. Computer competency required.

SALES

Our account representatives manage a geographic territory to develop long-term relationships with our clients. They are responsible for developing the account base; selling office equipment and Martin Group services, including OneSource managed print services; and client care. Previous sales experience preferred.

SERVICE

Our service team sets up your equipment, delivers and installs it, connects it to your network for printing, and performs any necessary repairs and preventative maintenance. Technical or IT skills a must. The team also includes our dispatch, inventory and supply shipment staff. Good organizational skills and communication skills necessary.

It All Started With a Building…

In 1980, George and Dorothy Martin were looking to purchase a building in downtown Lake Geneva, WI.  They found the perfect one, but with a condition.  The only way the older couple who owned the building would sell it was if the Martin family also purchased the office supply business that was already in it.  So, they approached their son Patrick Martin about buying the business, and Martin Office Supply was born.  The new company specialized in office supplies and furniture and took in broken typewriters for repair by other vendors.

Patrick talked with his brother, Brian Martin, about the need for a local typewriter repair service.  Brian attended typewriter repair school and started a new company, Martin Office Equipment, in 1985.  Located in the basement of the Martin Office Supply business building, Martin Office Equipment took off quickly and soon expanded its offerings to sell Panasonic faxes.  In 1990, Brian added Panasonic analog copiers to the line-up, and in 1991 the two businesses merged under the name Martin Office Supply.

The new Martin Office Supply continued to grow, and in 1993 moved into a bigger building located on the north side of Lake Geneva.  To emphasize the increasing role of office equipment sales and service, the company changed its name to Martin Business Group in 1996 and sold off the office supply portion of the business. 

We continued our expansion by opening satellite offices in Beloit, WI; Rockford, IL; Kenosha, WI; and Madison, WI.  A brand-new corporate headquarters was opened on the east side of Lake Geneva in 1998, where we are located to this day. 

In 1999, a major milestone occurred with John Stensland joining the company as a third partner and co-owner (and unofficial third Martin brother).  With Patrick as CEO, Brian as President, and John as Vice President, this leadership team completed our transition to a full-service office equipment service provider.  In 2000, Martin Business Group became a Konica dealer and has sold that award-winning line-up of desktop printers, office console systems and production print machines for the past 11 years.

In 2007, the Martin brothers decided the time had come to retire.  John Stensland became the sole owner and President, and renewed our commitment to the principles of exceptional client service and ethical business practices which we were founded on.  

We expanded our services again with the launch of OneSource, our managed print services programs to help our clients get control over their total printing costs through all their output devices.  We added a second manufacturer partner, Muratec, to offer faxes and smaller desktop systems.  We also entered into a synergy relationship with OfficePro, an office supply company in Janesville, WI, offering complete one-stop support for all office needs.  In support of this relationship, our Beloit office moved to Janesville, WI, in 2010.

During the 2000s, we racked up a number of major awards and accomplishments.  We won our first Konica Minolta national Pro-Tech service certification award in 2006, the first year we were eligible for the program.  We have repeated that win every year since.  We also have been honored as a two-time recipient of the Elite Dealer award from OfficeDEALER magazine, making us one of the top 100 office equipment dealers in the United States.  In 2011, we were selected as the inaugural winner of the National Elite Dealer of the Year award from The Week in Imaging.     In 2011       In

Our Executive Team

	John Stensland / President and Owner   John Stensland has been in the office equipment industry his entire professional life, starting out selling fax machines and analog copiers in the 1980s. He joined Martin Business Group in 1999 as vice president and partner, and became sole owner, CEO and president in 2007.  He is a familiar face in the community through his involvement in the Lake Geneva Rotary Club, where he has served as president and as assistant district governor for southern Wisconsin District 6270. 	Tricia Vogel / Controller  Tricia Vogel has had a life-long fascination with numbers. As our controller and human resources manager, she is responsible for taking care of all of our numbers, including leases, maintenance contracts, and our clients’ billing questions. She earned a BA in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and is working towards sitting for her CPA requirements. She has previously served as the town clerk for the Town of Spring Prairie.
	Mark Follett / Field Service Manager An 18-year Martin Group veteran, Mark Follett got his start in office technology by servicing typewriters in the 1980s. As one of our senior service technicians, he has fixed it all – from old analog copiers to today’s complex production printing systems to even six-foot-tall shredders. He became our service department’s manager in 2007, and has led our team to six national service certification awards from Konica Minolta. In his spare time, Mark is a Harley Davidson enthusiastic and enjoys hitting the road with his bike.
